The Regent’s Glen Country Club wisely decided to save and restore their slate roof, maintaining both the beauty and value of the structure. Slate that has been exposed to the elements can actually strengthen while also developing a patina of time that is priceless … their decision was quite simply the right one. |
 | After a careful inspection and analysis Peter McCreesh recommended that:
- Missing and/or broken *slate tiles should be replaced.
- New flashing should be installed on all valleys.
- Worn out box gutters should be removed and 20-ounce lead-coated copper gutters installed.

Whenever the McCreesh crew tackles an extremely large roofing surface (such as the one shown) arrangements are always made to protect and cover open areas while the work is in progress. This assures the protection of the understructure from all elements until the repairs have been made.
It is very often the small, unseen details that contribute to the overall success … Peter McCreesh never overlooks minutiae!
* The original ______ slate tiles must be matched for size and color. |
